It took so long for me to try Wellbean, and I wish I had sooner! The first time we went, Wellbean was fairly quiet, but it was decently busy on Labor Day (maybe because it was a holiday). It's unfortunate that they don't seem to get as much business nowadays. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. Food came out really quick!

I ordered the chitterling (tripe) soondubu every time I went. My boyfriend has tried soondubu and a bibimbap. We've had some of the combos, with the spicy octopus and LA galbi. The banchan changed a bit some of the times we went, but good nonetheless. I especially enjoyed the potatoes and fish.

The soondubu here tasted different than a lot of other places. It seemed to have more flavor than just "spicy." I really, really loved it and I'd say it was much better than lots of places in metro-ATL. Comparable to even Jang Su Jang maybe. They served purple rice as a default, which was really moist. They poured hot water in the rest of the bowl, so you could eat it at the end if you wanted to.

The bibimbap came with a cold soup, which was okay. The dish itself was really tasty, especially with spicy sauce mixed in! The rice was very moist, and the veggies tasted fresh. I don't think it stood out, but it's definitely a great option if you don't want soondubu.

The LA galbi was pretty thick, and I think it was the best deal out of the combos. I also liked the sesame seeds on top. The spicy octopus was good, but there were more veggies than actual octopus. The pieces were really small too.

I thought the service at Wellbean was great and the food was phenomenal. I'm so addicted to their soondubu, so I'll definitely be back!

When this place first opened, it was always packed and service was always impeccable. I was shocked to find many new changes when we visited. We came in around 6:00pm on a Saturday evening and were 1 of 3 parties eating. We were immediately seated and the banchan (appetizers) came out very quickly. The stone pot bowls soon followed. The banchan is very abundant and tasty here. One of the first major changes I noticed is that the rice is no longer in the black stone bowl but a metal one-- this made the nooloonggi not taste as good (will explain more later).

All of the tofu dishes come (came) in a metal bowl where the waiters add hot water to make nooloonggi (which is a hardened rice) which is saved for the end of the meal as a cleansing finish.

We quickly finished all the banchan and when we needed someone, we were able to quickly get the waiters attention by pressing a button on the side. The waiters were not always the friendliest when we asked for more banchan but were still accommodating.

Whenever I am craving soondobu, this is the place that my family and I come to. It is always very clean and prices are very affordable.

Tip: they do not honor the 10% off Yelp check in~

I always recommend this restaurant when people ask for soondobu. The menu is very vast for vegetarians, pescatarians, and meat lovers.

If anyone knows another tofu house that serves curry soondubu, please message me because I'm not coming back to this place. The workers here are really impatient with you if you're not Korean.

They overcharged my friend for her meal when the price was clearly stated in the menu. Tried to balance that out with a low amount tip and the waitress scolded my friend for being cheap. The worker called my friend, the customer, CHEAP.

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever faced!

Excellent and authentic food. Great value on the tofu soups and cold noodles. We didn't try the larger dishes but very much enjoyed the chewy noodle with beef soup and assorted soup, which we pleased to find with fresh (not previously frozen) clams and shrimp. The medley of free, fermented side dishes really makes for an interesting meal for the open minded eater!

Probably my favorite soondubu place in Georgia!!

The prices are reasonable and affordable, the jjigae itself is delicious, and the best part would be the banchan (side dishes). Definitely come here during lunch hours to get yourself $7.99 soondubu ($1 off reg price). The soondubu comes with steamed purple rice (healthy and delicious!) in a dolsot (stone) bowl. They pour hot water in the dolsot after for you to enjoy the nureongi rice. This place isn't as stingy on the banchan, which was surprising to me because most places wouldn't want to refill your banchan more than once. One of the workers said herself to not hesitate on asking for more because they'd love to give more if we needed. The banchan really tastes homemade, making it an even better addition to the soondubu.

Service can be a bit slow during the busy lunch hours, but the food is worth it.
